They'll walk you through it when you talk to them. I selected the more aggressive rates, and I run the SP+ setting on the track, and Comfort dampers on the street. It's stiffer, but not jarring at all...

For those who are contemplating this setup with racing rubber (and even with EC-7s, as most in this thread are doing - and I am doing), I would recommend skipping these KW HAS kits and going with nthe Ground Control coil-over conversion kit, that comes with camber plates, and doesn't have this rubbing issue.

It provides the same height adjustability as the KW HAS kit, but provides a choice of linear springs and is designed to work with their included camber plates.

I originally had issues with the GC kit to start, and worked with them to flesh out those issues, and I have a worry-free kit now that's done 5 events and 4k road miles without any problems.
Not sure if you're replying to me or not (original thread started with HAS, but should be changed again due to changes in the thread), but I have the clubsport coilovers, not HAS. My main reason for continuing this saga is for those who already have clubsports and are contemplating the EC-7 wheels with the 10 inch fronts. My car is moderately lowered (1-1.2 inch) and the 5mm spacer will NOT clear the spring / spring perch. A 10mm (maybe 7.5?) will only provide enough clearance.

I spoke with Apex on this, and one thing mentioned was changing the springs out (eliminating the tender spring), but he wasn't sure exactly what would be a good fit.

Anyway, just waiting on my replacement NT01 this week. Will get the car up on ramps for better pictures.

Thanks for clarifying. I didn't realize you had the KW CS setup. It seems to be a problem for KW in general, and not just the HAS kit. Great of you to document.

I have those same 18x10's up front and do not rub with/without spacers. I choose to use 10mm spacers to add front width at the track, and those also do not rub (which I think that info should help you).

OK. so it appears the magic number is a 10 mm spacer, NOT 5.

it's tight but I think it will work.

I have M4 with MP HAS, lowered to factory specs, looking for the option to be able to run either/both of the following combinations using either Apex or Signtuare 18" wheels for Option 1, paired with a stock 437M (rear) in Option 2.

Option 1 -
Front: 18x9.5 ET22 with 275/35
Rear: 18x11 ET44 with 305/30-35

Option 2;
Front: 18x9.5 ET22 with 275/35
Rear: 19x10 ET40 with 295/30

Anybody had experience or comments regards to rubbing or protrusion outside of the guards with the below and MP HAS?

Prefer NOT to run spacers and am running most aggressive stock camber as possible.

Seems like clearance is also quite tight with the M-Perfromance HAS with 275 track tires on ET25 wheels:

Cheers, do you think the ET22 would be sufficient or would ET20 be best?

Its important that the top of the tires dont protruding out past the line of the guards on stock camber,

CanAutM3 i saw in another thread you suggest 18x10 vs 18x9.5, if both have Et22 is there any difference in the way the wheel sits, e.g will the 10" be pushed out (6mm?) closer to the guard, or they sit in the same place but the tires stretch better?
