Presentation F80M3 next weekend ?

Is there an possibility for an "closed-room" presentation of the new F80M3 at the M-Night of the M-Festival 2013 next weekend on the occasion of the Nürburgring 24 Hour Race?
Maybe with an valencia-orange F80 Presentation car?

What is the relevance of a "closed-room" reveal for us? We anyway won't see it.

I think there will be a bit more transparency in some details regarding the M3 this weekend than before.

I sure hope they don't start doing the long, drawn out strip show like they did with the 1M.

I agree that I hope this is not a long drawn out process. Granted its good to be patient, but with all of the new products coming out at Mercedes Benz, Audi, and Porsche, I am really looking forward to something from the M division that will make everybody take pause (in a positive way). Bring on the new M3 and M4, or at least give us something more interesting than safari clad cars on the ring and speculation as to performance, etc.

Bmw M page posted a picture on facebook with a covered car. The comment says 'things to come'.. So either the M3/4 or the M235i, it looks more like a coupe-style car. But I don't expect BMW to show a concept of the M4 before the M3?

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...count=7&ref=nf

Could be the M6 Zagato concept as well..

It is either an M3 or M4 I'd guess.

Bigger question is, when are they going to pull that cover off, and who will is allowed to attend when it happens? Or did it happen already?

And hopefully they release some details - however minor - about the chassis or powertrain.

So it is. Good call - it never occurred to me.

So, the question is, will there be any M3 information coming to us from the festival, or was it a false alarm?

There will be the M3 F80, but as the previous times, only shown to a certain small group of people. They however did not get any information, like engine specs or weight. SCOTT often promises more, but that is just to build hype. M3 F80 will be at Frankfurt, not earlier.

Actually some publications had face time with key M Personel at the M Festival.
We just have to wait to see if they opened up a little bit more than usual on the M3 because its next.

M3 is next? Well, I do not know, because there is the X5, the 4 Series Coupé and the 2 Series Coupé, not to forget the i3 (). And we all know what they look like.

Is that another way off prediction from our "insider"? Appears to be.
