Hood Damage Repair Experience?

Had a chunk of asphalt pitched onto my hood by another car on the freeway this week. Wondering if anyone has had a repair done to their aluminum hood? As this the dent is covered by a brace, and the hood is flexible under light pressure, I am not sure filler will work. Thoughts….

Take it to a body shop, Insurance Claim bro. That's a nasty couple of dings, I'd be at the body shop right now.

Garage List
Had a tire iron kicked up by a truck in front of me that hit my hood on my 2015 F80. It left similar (maybe deeper) marks....the hood was replaced as they could not repair it. Since the asphalt hit you, you can claim it under your comprehensive coverage with no deductible AND no penalty.....aka no rate increase.

I had the exact same thing happen last summer but my concrete gouge was towards the front of my hood.
High end body shop did an amazing job. Can’t tell it ever happened.
Crumbling infrastructure here in New York despite being raped by taxes.

When mine got hit, I had a dent removal guy get the hood as flat as he could then took it to a body shop for repair. You'd never even know it was damaged.

The pics might look shit. Im posting from my phone.

body shop for sure
IF the brace is covering the dent, and there is no access, the filler will eventually fail due to the heat, and your paint job will suffer. I would want a new hood, and fresh paint
