LOL.. Yep, northwest (Toledo area)... been here 10 years (too long!), came from NJ...

Another thing I learned is that birds really don't stand a chance when they are crossing your path while accelerating!!!
Darn birds I agree!

I don't know the Toledo area well other than UT. Dated a girl there that played soccer.

That lexus RC350s don't stand a chance! lol, don't normally do this, but had the opportunity to leave one in the dust today!! Was somewhat disappointed, thought it was an ISF at first!

I learned about the brap brap button.

In sport or sport plus get the revs up, floor it and let off the gas quickly... brap brap. Love it. My wife can't stand it

I learned that my friend is an idiot. I have a flap control module so I can put the car in "Angie" mode (aka - quiet as possible) because she bitches about noise. So it's always in that mode with her in the car. She said "why would you want to hear the engine? Wouldn't you want it as quiet as possible so you can hear the music".

I had to explain to her that the engine WAS the music, and what she wanted was a soul-less luxury car, not a sports car. Surprisingly, after some thought, she got it!

She is still however pissed off at BMW engineers for not putting volume controls for the stereo near the reach of the passenger (either by or on the iDrive), because apparently that's the most important seat in the car

I learned that 528 loaner I was given while mine is getting serviced makes me appreciate how much I love my F80.

I learned the strap in the trunk is great for holding drink bottles when transporting the bike.

I use it to hold Adam's detailing spray, Einzett cockpit cleaner and glass cleaner. Constantly have to use the glass cleaner.

That my hot a$$ windshield acts as a bug killer! I noticed while sitting in my car, a couple of times, that as soon as bugs hit the windshield, they drop! Now I have to clean out bug carcasses!

I learned that very good Aransas Pass seafood is not very far away, especially when you make a high speed run down the backroads with the top down from San Antonio! What a beautiful morning drive, arrived around 11:30 to beat the lunch crowds. Already acclimatized, we sat outside and smelled the sea air as we ate great seafood, then top up and air conditioning on, my wife slept while I drove back. What a fun day!

This past week I learned that even with discounts, the carbon fiber parts are really expensive, and that the MPE is crazy expensive. Bought them though!

So now I have all these parts laying around and the car won't even be here for at least three more weeks!

In three weeks you will again learn something new: That the MPE is worth it!

Ask a different dealer. If you wait for an allocation to come to you, you never known when you will get one.

Realized, with 6MT, foot off the gas, let clutch out to get moving, ecu automatically gives car a little throttle, I assume to assist with stalling the car. It's subtle, but it happens.
