BM3 Tune in Atlanta

I have JB4/DP but I'm ready to move to a flash. I dont really have any problems with my JB4 but you can make the same power as JB + Ethanol with a Flash on 93 octane so its just more convenient on a day to day basis.

So far all the shops that can do it out here in the South East are charging more than the Cali shops to do all the work etc. I'm still crossing my fingers that another Atlanta shop will become a vendor soon.

No one except the shops in Cali charge what they charge...and I cant seem to figure out why they charge so little...but then again they are a Dime a Dozen out there...

My BMW Mechanic will do the R&I for $200 but unfortunately he cannot do the flash himself so I would have to ship it still which adds $100.

I personally feel what most Cali shops charge is pretty fair. 2 hours for the R&I so $250. $100 for the unlock on top of that. Then whatever BM3 stuff you buy. Thats the same R&I Harrison Motorsports in Atlanta charges but they only do VF so far.

FYI my ECU is coming out tonight and shipping to Justin over at AutoTalent to do the flash. So Ill have BM3 in ATL for those interested to test out very soon.

You wont be disappointed! It transforms the car! Just FYI for you guys in ATL we are A lot closer than California for the tune and unlock if you wanted to have them removed and sent here.

The BM3 is a beast. Cannot say enough about the guys over at AutoTalent. Shipped there and back within 3 days and they even hooked up the cost of shipping. ECU shows no signs of being opened.

I do eventually want to check out your car with the tune - maybe during the next Peachtree BMW club morning. But in the meantime, can you provide any details of what you notice about the tune and what you had coded?

Usually the third weekend of every month at the Barnes and Noble/Starbucks parking lot off of Mansell Road / Northpoint Pkwy in Alpharetta. You can get up-to-date info on the Peachtree Chapter BMWCCA page.

This coming Sunday, though, BMW Roswell is having a chapter appreciation morning at 10am in the new building off Hwy 9. Should be fun - come on out!
