Suggestions on Path from Munich to Nurburgring

Hello!

I have a ED coming up in the next few months and I have been having a hard time finding the best driving route from Munich to the Nurburgring.

I care most about having a beautiful scenic and spirited drive than stopping at certain destinations.

I have already looked at traveling to the MB and Porsche museum but I'm more interested in bypassing those and finding roads maybe along the France border that will give us a more thrilling ride.

Ideally I'd like to stay in a nice resort halfway on our journey to the ring. Since I imagine the roundabout way we take may be much longer than a straight shot to the ring from Munich.

Any suggestions?
