I hate that limiter. Just puts a drag in the car when you hit top speed. Feels like somebody is tugging at you.

I have had mine up to 142 on the autobahn during European delivery, and 131 on the main straight at Thunder Hill. No real desire to go any faster than that.

I assume you weren't running stock at Thunderhill. What mods did/do you have?

I hit 155 on the main straight at Monza in damp conditions. I'm hoping for better exits out of the parabolica in dry conditions on my next track day so I can see if my limiter works as it should.

I'm guessing in ideal conditions, with enough space, and limiter removed- the F80 is good for about 180mph.

The fastest I've ever seen on the road is 168mph on my Ninja ZX10R. Had my 2001 VW Passat 1.8T up to 135MPH a few times.

The only time I ever topped out a vehicle was around 2003-2004, I had CBR 600 F4i up to 158mph, digital speedo, and it would just switch between 157mph to 158mph for a few seconds- so I knew that was it. I was only 17 at the time...Still alive but probably shouldn't be That's ok, I gave Unlce Sam a few cat lives in the USMC too

Managed to get to 278km/h (174mph) on my ZCP. It didn't hit the limiter at that speed, so there may be a bit more in the bag.

This was done on my very long driveway

This car is quite smooth at high speeds. Sometimes deceivingly so, in that I won't be paying attention and look down to see that I'm accidentally going over 100.

I was driving with a friend when the HOV lane was ending so I put it down a bit...he thought we were going 85mph or so...when he looked over I was letting off the gas at 130mph.

One reason I set warning on my windscreen when I go over my desired top speed. It is so easy in this car to go over speed limit even without realizing it. Especially on smooth highway.
