I thought about it but with the other gloss black part on the car it balances the front nicely. It's a glossy satin black from the factory. I thought it was going to be matte and look like it needed to be painted. I'm wondering if the carbon splitters would fit with this lip. Haven't really looked at the splitters to make an assessment.

Did you have to make any mod to the 2 center spacers, like Longbow64 above? He shaved his 2 center spacers by 1/8". I think yours look good as is if you didn't modify it.

How did you trim the spacers?

I used a table belt sander.

Crazy yeah I know someone elses was like that. Mine does not have the wave. It was however missing 2 of the bolts for the drilled holes. Packages were sealed so it like that from the manufacturer. Nothing a quick trip to Home Depot didnt fix.

Seems like quality control at Lightweight may be lacking.

Here's the after. Still not completely straight. Might do a little more trimming. I was missing two as well and didn't use the shorter screws. Using 4 bolts on each side is enough.

The passenger side didn't line up perfect either. The driver side was spot on. There was a slight over-hang of about a 1/4". Couldn't really make any adjustments because the 4 OEM holes were all lined up. Pushed it in slightly to get the lip to fit properly. That may have aggravated the bowing a little.

Does anyone still have their instructions for the lightweight lip? I've been laid up for a while and managed to misplace mine. I'd really appreciate it if someone could scan it and send me a copy.
