I take reviews with a grain of salt...I always like to drive and review myself...Reviews are good to read, but always good to make judgement for yourself...

I said "atleast 2" of the GTS safety cars have been confirmed as being in the pre-production VIN. Never said all have been identified yet

By testing (VIN testing) I meant going into the system and checking where each and every car was delivered A few Euro car have been shown as going to BMW itself, but no USA cars have been found yet from random VIN testing that did not go to a regular dealer 55 cars are a lot to have standing around North America for BMW's own use. Great if it is for their use, great if its for customers use. I dont care where they went, I just report that 405 North American customer spec cars were built. And 803 Customer spec cars worldwide There may also be a number of extra pre-production spec cars, since BMW loves hiding their VIN's inbetween ranges, just like one of the first GTS shown K333464

Best, most thrilling car I have ever owned. That is all I care about. I did buy it for myself after all... And unlike some cars I have owned that could only be used on Sunday drives, I can drive this one to work every day (above 50 degrees is my only requirement). I find the seats actually very comfortable unlike what some reviewers wrote. I have never felt as connected to the road. In a good way... |

Same thing happened with the ZCP And the same will happen with the M4 CS. Trolls will endure... Gts still selling in the middle of winter at or above MSRP despite Clarkson (dumb) review (few cases at or above $200,000 - that is dumb too by the way) |

I went back down to dealership this weekend to look at the GTS again...so nice. They popped the hood for me to look at motor and sit in car. That hood is CF? Seats are way more comfy than I thought...BMW did a great job with the GTS.

Hood is CF. Probably one of the sweetest pieces on the whole car. Don't be afraid to slam it closed either. I'd be amazed if a dealer let you take a GTS home for a weekend without some sort of commitment.

If only you could see through the dash and glimpse at the full CF dash skeleton!
