That makes sense. The only ones left are above MSRP right now and even those will sell. I think the only reason anyone can get their hands on one right now is due to the fact they made another 50 for the US. I am thankful for that; otherwise I would not have gotten mine...
By this spring, they will be all gone. |

Funny that the same wing on the M3 gts or the 911 GT3 RS does not bring as many negative comments. I personally love the look of the M4 gts!
Functional wing, not for show, on all 3 of the above. Last edited by jpdchicago; 01-26-2017 at 09:36 PM.. |

I think the wing does not look organic on the car and even the GT3 guys all comment about this quite negatively.
The GT3 and RS wing flows with the body lines of the car and on the GTS it looks like an afterthought. |

"Even the GT3 guys"? Because they are usually so complimentary toward BMW? Half of the guys on RL live to take cheap shots at anything BMW. Go take a look at the BMW M4 GTS thread in the RL GT3 forum for a great example. So I'm sorry but their comments carry no weight at all with me. As for the RS wing, it looks like a work bench from someone's basement. I don't think it flows with the car any more than the M4 GTS wing.

I don't think this is totally out of the realm of possibility, I reached out to a couple of dealers asking if MSRP was possible, they keep messaging me back to just make them any offer. They have the car listed at MSRP currently. I just do not think the market for this car is great at this exact moment, seems like a buyers market. There are currently 88 M4 GTS listed on Cars .com. There were originally 300 cars slated for the US, and reading above we are saying they added 50 more last minute. So we are looking at 80~ / 350 cars available and listed for sale. There will be another limited M4 / M4 CS with similar specs coming soon with the LCI updates to boot? This might be an ideal window to pick one up, maybe the best window...

I know. I tried before I found mine. You can count real MSRP ones on the fingers of one hand. CS will be a different category. More like a slightly more powerful everyday driver's car with lots of M performance parts. Probably half way between the ZCP and the Gts. Not a limited number production track car.
