Transmission Oil Change at 1200 Mile Break-In Service?

Read a few threads here regarding whether or not the tranny oil should be changed at the same time.

Asked BMW SA specifically about this and he said they didn't do it for 1200... so... no.

I had them change it and I paid for it out of pocket. They acted like I was crazy, haha.

I spoke with my SA and asked if they would do it. He said it is not done as part of the 1200 mi service but since I had noticed a little binding/clunkiness they changed it for free.

btw, you need more poll options (i.e. changed, Lease, 6MT is not an option).

Purchased 6MT (2016 F80)

Asked two different service centers, they both wouldn't do it. They said that it's not recommended.. lol

How difficult is it to change transmission oil..?
