A great spec car for sure. But some poor punter is going to either have to accept and put up with the fault, or he'll be backwards and forwards to the dealer.

Seems odd it's not up for sale near you? I guess it went back into some pool where dealers can choose to buy it off BMW? Who knows.

Sorry £56,280.

Yep goes back into BMW dealer auctions.

I guess so, they will get a free ceramic sealant and paint protection film on sills and bumper. It's had full gtechniq treatment to all surfaces.

That is if someone doesn't destroy the paint work at the dealership :-)

Indeed.
If you remember I was half considering a 335d 3-4 months ago. Talking to Tony back then I was still in positive equality to swap cars! Usually unheard of after about 3-4 months of ownership!

Damn!!! Sorry to see this foggy! Didn't know you were so unhappy with it. Did the dealer not try to fix the knocking like others have insisted on? Are you just yearning for a G series anyway?

They had the car for 10-12 weeks, replaced:

Brakes
Shocks
Suspension arms
Subframe bushings
Some brackets
And the diff..

Still not fixed. I'd had enough, seen the car in pieces and just didn't want it anymore. Ruined it for me and because I'd waited 5 months for that it put me off ordering another.

I looked at a C43 and S4 and even put a deposit down on S4. Didn't even consider a G30 until I happened to spot one whilst in the dealers sorting out the M3. Had a drive and got a deal I was happy with and that was that.

Mine was bad enough that you could hear it over the radio. Now you have to have everything really quiet, be on a particular piece of road going 20 odd and you hear the odd knock. It's very rare though and sometimes even with all those things I still don't hear it.

The M3 loaner I had was shocking, if it was anything that I would have thrown the keys at them..

Congrats. I was speccing one this morning, ticked all the package options. I'm sure you will enjoy the refinement, I had F11 535i and was impressed.

At 20 like an exhaust knocking on the axel.

30-40 like a metal plate rattling around.

I hate rattles, interior rattle I can fix myself most of the time but this was way beyond that and just not acceptable on a 60k car. Well I wouldn't have accepted it on any car.

Still seems a little expensive. Going via Broadspeed you can spec a similar car brand new for a couple of grand more

If you can get one the same spec brand new for £56,000 then get one, that would match tony's deals from last year.

I just looked at broadspeed, just over £60k for that spec car (that was full leather) and I missed adaptive lights

It will on the right road if you know about it. If talking and distracted then you may not notice.

If you are on a decent road you will not even notice it, side streets it comes out in full force.
