Fuel Injection Cleaners
Does anyone run a maintenance schedule of their own using injection cleaners ie. fuel additives to keep the injectors "clean"?

I do, I run Royal Purple fuel injection cleaners every 6-7 fill up. Done it to every car/truck I have owned. Doesnt cost much, maybe its just a piece of mind for me.
There is a guy on youtube that does a review before and after on every cleaners out there. He shows the pistons before and after, its pretty informative. I would say theres alittle improvements based on his reviews. |

with first tier gas there is enough additives in there to keep valves and injectors clean. I used to run redline cleaner once in a while but I determine that it isn't necessary once I looked inside a 100k miles head.
