Need Help (Bootmod3 Tuning)

I recently got catless downpipes / midpipes installed and got this message after the drivetrain codes + CEL Light

At this moment in time, i figure it’s gonna be solved upon the tune install
Today i tried installing the tune (this is my first time using bootmod3 or tuning a bmw in general. There was many tunes to choose from but the stage ones tunes only stated for stock modification and the stage 2 93octaine stated (modifications required: highflow downpipes). I thought this was the one i wanted, i only configed with certain setting like gts startup roar, coldstart delete, burbles (never had them and wanted to try them lmao), etc and the tune installation went quite well, turned off the car and waited 5 seconds as stated. I started the ignition and saw the same drivetrain + CEL light was one so i thought id still give it a spin. The tune was definitely installed due to me hearing the burbles but my trottle was slightly limited

Since the codes were still on, i figured the best course of action was to go back to the stock tune until i get this solved just in case i need to drive it to avoid further issues.

What am i missing? Did i not turn on the right setting? Preferably id like to install the stage 1 tune since i don’t have my crankhub done but idk if it’s possible with catless downpipes

What do the stages actually mean?(stage 1/stage 2) i figure the higher the stage, the more power is made

You need to check the code, BM3 lets you read codes. Post the codes you are getting.

Did you check off the option to auto delete cat codes before you flashed the map?

See attached screenshots and make sure you changed the catalytic monitors (CEL) selection to off. Also, use the diagnostics to read what codes are causing the drivetrain malfunction.

I updated the tune
I turned off “check for cats” for my new downpipes
The first screenshot is the all the codes before the reflash
And the second screenshot will be after the disabling the cats
Lastly the third screenshot will be after i cleared the codes, these 2 remain and wont clear.
Im sure it’s these 2 codes causing that malfunction to show up

What would be the following steps from here?
I see theres an option to disable certain EWG on the tune config but im not too sure what that is.
I know it’s related to that code i have but not sure if it’s the right move.

The last 2 has nothing to do with the tune, you said you just had work done. You should check the wastegate on the second turbo, make sure it’s plugged in and there’s no physical damage. You might need a new one or calibration.

Got it fixed, turns out the clamp for the downpipes was slightly blocked the EWG from closing ergo the drivetrain malfunction code. Thank yall for the advice!

Now i have one code remaining 12B304: Lamba Control line break
Which from my research is just bad o2 sensors but i coded out the code to hide CEL.
Do i run any risk running the car with a bad o2 sensor? Of course i plan to fix it but in like 2 weeks or so

Good find, for the O2 you will be fine for just normal driving to get around, but I wouldn’t push it or drive hard. The DME adjusted air and fuel ratio base on reading from the O2.
