Akra did it again, great sounding exhaust. I guess the tie breaker for me between M perf. and Akra would be performance stats.

I'll just skip lunch and leave the work bag and umbrella out of the car. Ha, that should about equal the performance gain that exhaust offers, and I'll save the 8 grand.

Civic is a far cry, but not surprisingly it does sound like an N54/N55.

With that said, Akra does make some of the most refined exhaust systems in the industry. Pricey? Sure but onbox one &, see the fit & finish, fitment and you'll see why it is not "$2500"

I heard the Akrapovic exhaust today at M festival from Nurburgring and it was good. I also got to do full throttle on Mperformance car and liked the sound better. I have to post video in separate post to see M4 at full throttle. Here some pics from today.

How are you getting $7k out of ~EUR3900? EUR/USD is about 1.36 right now, implying ~$5,300.

Actually the catback is 4,700 euro without VAT that's the EU tax wich is 12% unless you're a non EU resident then it's a nice 22%

Soooooo 4700 euro+12%=5264 euro

5,264 euro at today's exhchange rate $1.359=$7153.77.

Make sense?

I have a hard time believing this is just the cat back section. Akra for e9X alone was conservative in terms of volume which this is not and that 7k+ price is literally double of e9X slip on.

Yeah, Akrapovic exhaust system it's when you pay half of the price for a brand and look. But I think it's worth since diffuser and tips look just incredible.
