Love it. Went from a 6speed e92 to DCT e90. The car came with the performance exhaust, I was thinking about changing to an Akra but fell in love with the M performance exhaust. It has some other goodies like carbon spoiler, front spliters, performance mirror caps and black zcp wheels. I got rear ended by a high school girl a couple of weeks ago its in the shop now. Cant wait to get it back.

300 lbs. lighter with 100 more lb-ft of torque, and nearly as much rear seat room as the 2014 Caddy CTS?
The M3 will be a perfect replacement for my E90 M5. I may miss the free foot massage at every stop light, but the dramatically improved fuel economy over the M5 and the E9X M3 will be welcome. Putting down an M3 deposit very soon.

If looking ecofriendly zone, there happened huge jump between M4 and E92 M3. I except that new M4 co2 emissions are same as Alpina B3 (180g/km), mean also cheaper taxes, which good and less fuel consumption. Engine maybe downsize, will see...still hopefully it is not standard chipped 335i engine, because it got water intercooler(see on leaked pics), no heat issues on track and maybe will be surprised for lag free turbo engine, I mean electric '"turbo" witch generate its energy from breaking.
It will be also lighter than E92 M3, even that car is increased. I think less weigth is biggest jump between these cars. |

+100 can't believe I forgot this the MOST important feature of all that they kind of ruined for the E92 model... the flared fenders make the most dramatic difference of all for these cars. It's what really sets them apart on the road. E92 is wider but looks a lot weaker as they didn't go as aggressive on the fenders. E90 did a better job. F8X all look insane, the car is looking WIDE from the cameo... can't wait until it comes off.

they're into making the car lighter and perform better with more torque rather than more horsepower. Which was always the reason why the e30 was an amazing car, but ill stick to my nice sounding V8

well, as i get behind the wheel of a 1M pretty often and drove it on the Ring i'm not that worried about the loss of sound or anything in the engine bay. it's a really nice sounding and responsive engine, even if it's a turbo. And lets be honest: the M3's I6 are legendary. i think the F8x will be a big step up for the M3/4. i recently read about 450PS in SportAuto (about 444hp for you, i think?), so that might not be the problem. target weight is similar to the E46 and that's a huge thing. it'll be a beast if those specs that were called "no secret" in that test are right.
