Car :2016 M4 6MT
Tune: JB4 & FBO (E85, but no meth)
Total Mileage: 28,782
Tune Mileage: 27,400

No problems whatsoever, other than rough idle caused by BMS intake which I removed.

Trading it in for my 2018 ZCP on order, will go with BM3 flash tune this time around and stack it with the JB4. Transferring all other mods to the new car when it arrives, along with a set of Pure S2's

No sir! But I think I'll wait a little bit longer with the new car, probably at the 4,000 mile mark this time like you did. I want to give the motor more time to stretch it's legs a bit.

Damn... a lot of miles. Great to see.

I'm just wondering, can a tuned car (moderate) Stage 1 of whatever tune.. a non-tracked car,can last 150k miles.

My current car may be a keeper. Even though I've said that 25 times in the past (current car is my 27th car).

So, grain of salt, as they say.

2015 M4

JB4 since 1200 miles
Pure turbos at 20k miles (once e85 mix every 5 fillups on average)
Upgraded to BM3 at 32k miles
Car is currently at 33k miles, and a huge smile every day!

0 issues except for silly cosmetic stuff that the dealer took care of.

My catch can is pretty dirty though, empty out 1/8 of an inch of sludge every oil change!

Nice! I've been going back and forth with myself about that oil catch can for months now, would you recommend it? I'm on stock turbos now, but I'm putting Pure high flows on my ZCP after the break-in when it arrives.

Any point for a catch can with stock turbos?

You're a brave man; I'm not sure I would risk owning one of these cars out of warranty.

Personally I'm looking at jumping ship down to a 997.2 911 of some sort.

The way I see it, it's cheap insurance. The can doesn't cost much. Send a PM if you want to see installed photos via email.

That's basically what I was asking. If there isn't a point to it on stock turbos, then I'll DEFINITELY add one on the next car since I'll be installing the upgraded turbos on that car.
