Absolutely not! The M8 will be priced in the $200K+ range competing against other supercars like the Continental GT, Aston Martin DB11, MB S63 AMG and the like. The LC's competitor is the more pedestrian BMW 650i, priced at round the $100-120K mark (US) loaded. Neither will be in the same league as the M8.

Coming from an RCF prior to the M3 I can tell you the LC500 is everything they intended it to be. The car is gorgeous.

I for one loved the look of the RCF but couldn't get over the feeling they pieced the chassis together... which they did. My 2012 ISF was a better driving car.

There is still rumours of an LCF which would toss twin turbos on the 5.0L V8.
