M2 vs M3 axels. Cross compatible?

Hi all,

Purchasing spare axels for my F80 M3. I came across some axels with only 2K miles on them for $499 each. The kicker is that they’re from an F87 M2.

Will the axels fit my F80 M3 even though the M2 has a smaller wheelbase.

I’ve tried searching the forum, but I don’t see anything on this.

Apologies if this question has already been answered.

Cross check the part number with your axles, I just bought some for my f82, and I know they are indeed cross compatible with the f80. Unsure if the same is true for the f87, but I would assume the they’re all the same. Just be sure to double check part #’s
