I'm hoping it gets on a rail car today.

I doubt it does, as it is BMW USA. My answers are US specific, I know nothing of the Canadian process.

Update on mine (see attached)... Is this good news?? Mine was an ED so I was preparing for a 1-2 week customs/VPC wait, but this gives me some hope...

That's great! That's what mine says too! One day to clear customs. I really hope it sails thru vpc. Final destination is Boston so once it's on a truck it will be quick

According to my CA, nothing happens over the weekend so hopefully things will start moving for you again tomorrow. I hope they ship mine before Wed so I can spend the holiday weekend driving my M4.

My car is not going as far as either of you (coming to Boston) and it is theoretically scheduled to be delivered on Nov 28... But since my insurance company is not open on Friday, not sure if I will be able to pick it up until Monday.

In any case, I am not sure if it will even make it to the dealer by the 28th....

Good luck. All I know is that mine was loaded onto a rail car in Monday and that it should take 2 days to get to Montreal.

Crap, I just got off the phone with Customer Relations... While the work order has not been completed, the target delivery date is now Dec 06!!!!

Delayed by 8 days!!! Just like that...

That sucks. Mine was picked up from the railyard in Montreal this morning at 8:15. Hopefully there are no detours and it goes straight to the dealership. I'm hoping to get it on Monday or Tuesday.

EDIT: It was delivered. My car is now at the dealership. The last question is how long does PDI take???

I got my plates at the time I financed the car so I would imagine the plates are with the dealer. Not sure about the rest but sounds like they should be able to get this done fairly quickly... I would camp at the dealership so that they feel some sense of urgency...
