Talking Any 2016 lurkers in here?

I sold my E90 M3 in September last year and with my daughter being born in June, ED wasn't really an option around the time. To add to that, I didn't want to do Euro Delivery over the winter. So the best option was do Euro Delivery this summer/fall as my daughter would be 1 plus the weather would be great. Turns out this also played nicely into just waiting for the 2016 as it only meant a couple of months at most . It's been a tough 7 months so far driving the beater. Meanwhile I have just been lurking around this forum educating myself on the new F8X. Who else here is planning on a 2016 and specially a 2016 ED?

this guy. I've been waiting patiently partly out of fiscal conservatism (big home upgrade two months ago, and want to m), so I've been planning on doing summer ED all along, and I'm now holding out a couple extra months for the 2016 in hope of a new color or two.

not sure I care about a possible ZCP, but we'll see if that rumor has any truth. I'm more interested in a couple new standard colors, to be honest, as I currently am tormenting myself with the options available. while there are some good options, none of them really stand out to me, and I pray I don't succumb to another AW M3. I'm thinking about possibly Azurite or Tanzanite, but I also would like to have something a little easier to maintain and perhaps a bit sportier, so I'm hoping for either one of the medium blues to become available or a lighter gray (Donnington would be awesome). maybe I'll even go for the full price individual though. my opinion changes every day.

I'm lurking... But I won't be able to join the group until MY17 as my current lease isn't up until EOY 2016. To my disappointment

I'm doing ED in August on a 2016. Already have a deposit down based in a 2015 build. Hopefully prices and packages don't change around too much.

I am on the same boat here. Sold my 2011 E92 m3 waiting for a 2016 f80 m3. Have been waiting for the release of more concrete information about the MY 2016. Currently so many rumors flying around about ZCP Packs and possible power increases , water injections. I was wondering when will the ordering guide be out? If the car is due in production June or July. I was hoping BMW release LCI F80 at Geneva Auto show. But that was a bust.

I'm first on the list for a F82 at my dealership. I need to sell my 2011 e92 asap.

I'm working toward the same goal! I plan to order a 2016 M3 once the pricing and options are available, to hopefully get in line for a Sept/Oct ED experience. Never done this before, so hopefully I don't get the timing all wrong.

Don't you guys kinda put yourself in a hole as far as negotiating the price is concerned unless you really don't care about that. If you have a deposit down, the dealer could pretty much charge MSRP because the price is not out yet.

What am I missing?

Sounds EXACTLY like me... really praying for a few new options, or I may go individual also.

If they do that, you're dealing with a shady dealership and you get your money back and move on.

My dealer has assured me my discount off MSRP will not change for a 15 or a 16. How the MSRP changes is TBD of course, but it's all relative.

Negotiate invoice plus X amount. So the MSRP changes will not effect you.

I heard '16 builds start in July. I'll miss that by 4 months. But when you think of it, even after '16s go into production...the '17s are only 12 months from their build date so it is what it is.

Gotcha, except my local dealership said to wait for the pricing release.

I've already put my deposit down planning for a June slot but when. I realized the 2016 builds were starting in July I told me dealer to push muly build off until then.

I also am hoping for a few more color options.

I'm ready to order a 2016 as soon as BMW has the info available. Already spoke to a dealer and tentatively agreed on pricing.

YES! LMB FTW!

I wouldn't get it again because I had it, but it's a very underrated color. I loved it on my E92.

I have to believe they will add some new colors because the current selection is very dull.

I was a 2016 lurker until I realized the ED dates didn't line up with my family's schedule. I'm leasing, so I don't care what they come out with for LCI. If it's something I have to have, I can always swap the lease next summer and do a quick turnaround ED.
