So a law that could potentially save a child's life, maybe an adult as well, is stupid? Maybe you are missing the big picture here? Pun intended haha

Gov't overreaching its boundaries, don't you think? Are children being ran over at epidemic levels or is this simply a case of the media and lawyers blowing things out of proportion...as usual? How did we function without cameras? Quite well.

A few years ago, a local man ran over and killed his son with his truck. I really think he would rather have his son back than worry about his liberties being encroached upon by a law meant to prevent these kinds of things.

Maybe you don't have kids (based on your parenting comment) but I bet you would be heartbroken to shits if you accidentally killed a child, let alone one of your own.

His son playing in driveway? It's the clearance of these trucks that's the issue. There are no-play zones for children. Kitchen, steps, garages and driveways. Common sense. Cameras will not solve problem because many only offer 2D depth which impairs judgement anyway despite warning chime.

I'm waiting to order a 2016. I almost pulled the trigger on at 2015 but I decided to wait. My last two cars have been Audi's and I'm currently driving a S5. Like a lot of people waiting for the 16's, I'm really hoping to see the ZCP offered.

Me.

To say I'm "waiting" though really isn't an accurate statement, things are just lining up for the 2016 model to be the one for me. I'm hesitant to contact dealers just yet as I'd like to see any changes, packages etc....

I suppose I could inquire with my local dealer, though a "gentlemen's" agreement doesn't hold a lot of weight with me, it could be worth a try. On the contrary, a friend of mine had one of those, and maybe some pricing documents on an incoming i8, they ended up wanting to charge him 35k more for it due to another dealership in LA wanting it. They are in the business to make money, can't get too angry with that; but still the "gentlemen's" agreement only goes so far. Buddy ended up getting a Porches though so I don't feel too bad, ha.

I'm waiting for 2016. My e92 m3 lease is up May 2016 and I love driving this car now; plus I plan on some auto-x and maybe a track day in the summer so it doesn't bother me to wait to see a) any de-bundling/new packages that come out ala ZCP and b) any new color offerings like LBB or Donnington Gray.. maybe Techno Violet II if my theory plays out lol

I'm considering waiting and doing a Jul-Aug ED. If anyone has a dealer that will agree to invoice plus $$ I would put a deposit down to lock it in. Please PM with details.

Some will bite but then add on $450 in doc fees and $100 in fedex

haha I am okay with up to $1000 on top of invoice for their profit. Just starting lower as they will counter no matter the amount. I am just trying to find someone to secure an August allocation who has done ED/PCD before so the experience isn't ruined.

$450 doc fees, sounds like NJ to me!

People on here have mentioned they have had good luck with the NJ dealers, lets see if it translates into a good deal for the 2016 as well. There are way too many dealers in my area.

Think $500 over invoice is more realistic towards December or later. Right now 1k + 300 doc fees would be as good as it can get for the 2016.

Sorry if this has been discussed but approx when could we order a 2016 m4 ( late April?). And is getting delivery in June - July for a 2016 unrealistic? On the fence of getting a 2015 now or waiting for a 2016... Thanks

From what I hear, pricing will be available in June and earliest Euro delivery will be August.

Euro delivery is usually earlier than taking delivery here? Thanks

I agree, it's a contender for sure. DG seems promising but I'm seeing comments from people who've seen it in person that claim it has a beige tinge to it, similar to cashmere silver; that kind of turns me off from it. If colors don't change for 2016, it's between SS and YMB for me.

I'm still learning about fees and what is negotiable and what isn't; namely in NJ if that makes a differnce. I know the $795 acq. fee is pretty much set, whether you pay for it up front or in the cap. cost, but you're saying that the only other fees one could potentially pay upfront (if negotiated correctly) is $300 for doc. fee?

So, let's say, for a lease total due at signing would be: 1st mo. payment + doc. fee ($300) + taxes on fees.. is anything missing fee wise?

I want to be sure I'm not paying any bogus fee like a finder's fee or anything lol.

Mid August is the earliest. But you can't actually reserve an ED date until ordering opens up so I've been told. 2015 production ends in June and you can take delivery until the end of July. I'm sort of stuck in the same situation with trying to plan an August ED on a 2016. It makes no sense why BMW can't commit to a date when people ordering 2015's can get a date six months in advance. It's not like they aren't planning to build cars anyways. I wrote BMWNA corporate to see if I could get an answer about it since I'm sure they have this problem all the time with model year changes across the board in July. It makes it really hard to plan a trip if you only have two months notice of your date. I'd like to have 3 months at a minimum.

June, july for a 16 is impossible. Production begins in mid july. Mid to late August ED is earliest deliver possible. Stateside deliveries won't be until September.

I am totally clueless on the lease front. Ask "GrussGrott". He seems to eb the resident expert on leasing

Since my e92 supercharger experience didn't go well, I'm now here waiting on ZCP.

I'm sad I'm willing to loose the best sounding m3 ever, for something that sounds worse than a 335i IMO.

But them turbos!
