[CODING] Missing CAFD Files

Hi guys,

can anyone help me? I also get the message that a cafd file could not be found.

I am running E-Sys 3.25.3

I-Step (current) : F020-17-03-503
I-Step (last) : F020-16-03-503
I-Step (shipment) : F020-14-07-503

The CAFD files I tried to use were CAFD_000009C8-006_004_021
and CAFD_00000DED-003_015_037

I'll attach screenshots.

Sorry to be a pain. My car got upgraded to I-Step F020-17-07-503. I've got E-Sys 3.28.1 and PSdZData v61.3. Same CAFD issue as everyone else (under FEM_BODY module for me).

I assume I need new PSdZData. How do I get it?

I’m using BimmerCode over WiFi OBDII adapter. I trying to retrofit RDC on my 14MY f06 installed the module where it belongs and sensors in wheels. Ran wires according to TIS with K can h/l via reverse camer k can wires.

I have no idea. I never retrofit RDC as it is standard in the U.S. But I would not be doing retrofit coding using a Phone App.

What if the car had rdc but module was replaced with a newer part number. Is coding required for the module to work or car to recognize it?

Yes, and possibly a learning / calibration procedure.

Hi Shawn,

It seems I am having the same issues as others. Car had to be completely reprogrammed at the dealer due to a flash tune issue and it wiped out all my coding. I currently have 3.27.1 version of e-sys and it wont find the files needed for "read coding data". Just keeps erroring out and cant find files. Can you send me the new version of e-sys for the latest software please?

Hello everybody, im new on e-sys coding and have a few errors. I wont to code FEM_BODY module but the CAFD is corrupted so as i understand i need to code new CAFD in to it but when i try to code new cafd in FEM_BODY i get anouther one error "Asynchrone programming failed! [C049]
task extension configuration missing in container - maybe the template is too old [1906]
". Can eneyone help me?
