[Coding] Disabling LED Amber side markers

I noticed that his question has been asked a couple of times in numerous threads so I thought I'd make some people's lives easier with this thread. I do not take credit for those codes as I"m not the one would discovered them, I'm merely providing them in this thread to make it easier for people to find in this forum.

I can confirm that these codes worked on my 2015 F80 M3 with lightning package. All you need to do is change the werte values of the numbers in red from 64 to 00.

TMS 41 Module:
Disable Left LED Amber Sidemarker:
3005 Standlicht Modus 1: Change werte = 00, 03, 00, 00, 00, 03, 00, 00, 64, 03, 00, 00, 2B, 04, 00, 00
3005 Standlicht Modus 2: Change werte = 00, 03, 00, 00, 00, 03, 00, 00, 64, 03, 00, 00, 2B, 04, 00, 00

TMS 42 Module:
Disable Right LED Amber Sidemarker:
3005 Standlicht Modus 1: Change werte = 00, 03, 00, 00, 00, 03, 00, 00, 64, 03, 00, 00, 2B, 04, 00, 00
3005 Standlicht Modus 2: Change werte = 00, 03, 00, 00, 00, 03, 00, 00, 64, 03, 00, 00, 2B, 04, 00, 00

You are needlessly duplicating an existing thread: Coding out: 3 little Amber LED's in the headlights?

You're right, but I guess that further proves my point that it can be difficult to find that thread. Maybe if it was named more properly to easily found when searching. Oh well, it's up now and I can't delete it.

If we had stickies in the coding sub-forum, we could create a super-thread with links to the relevant threads for the most popular codings.

Agree, that would be helpful

AMEN. Why the hell don't they do stickies? This forum would be a much better resource if it didn't require a forensic analysis of old posts every time someone was looking for coding information. There is a lot of duplication of effort as a result.

The only explanation that would come to my mind is that forum admins do not support coding for whatever reason, and so they will not do anything to enable us in doing that. That's my conspiracy theory

I agree on the stickies. I just started coding a couple weeks ago and have managed to figure out the basics and get everything done, but it took a ton of searching and reading/trying to find various threads or individual posts.

Do the moderators of this forum participate much?

As I mentioned in the other forum in reply to your post, you need to make exactly the same change (i.e., replace the "64" in the 5th position with "00") in TMS > Welcome Light 1. It works!

So this worked for me great! Which module should I code to get rid of the amber leds for welcome lights, seems like this only got rid of the headlights on and the driving light mode leds but not welcome lights leds! Please chime in! And thank you
