Plankton and I grabbed a coffee and the idea came up of a caravan to Bimmerfest 2016... we'll try and see if we can get a discount hotel rate, some rest stops, lunch area, etc...

Anyone interested? Very general discussions right now, but would be nice to get an idea of how many people would like to come...

All,

I apologize for the late notice, but I will not be able to attend tomorrow morning. I had a rather nasty bike crash on the trails in Santa Cruz, and am going to spend the day trying to get back up on my feet.

I know a few of you have msg'd me in regards to getting some coding done. We can either meet in between this meet and the next meet, or I can take care of you next meet. I'm located in Walnut Creek, so those of you who'd like to make the trek over here, do let me know.

Again, apologies for not being able to make the run tomorrow.

And also +1, very nice to meet everyone. I've always been in my own little world of car geekdom and none of my friends are really car geeks, so it's nice to meet some real enthusiasts.

I'm a horrible, horrible person who can't remember names, even though many of you told me yours, I'm a moron. The only one I remember for sure was Dave (thisisdave) with the AW M4 (your exhaust setup sounded great btw) because he introduced himself twice and has an easy forum name.

If you guys don't mind can you help me put names to faces/cars? real or forum names, PM me please or post here. I'm Jason btw, the blonde guy with the plaid flannel and YMB M3...

Fire Orange M4 guy (lives close by) - you mentioned a shop to contact for parts but like names, I forgot the name of the shop.
Frozen Red (Frozen Sakhir Orange) with the super clean mod setup & nice dinan exhaust. Thanks for revving it, it sounded like what I want to go with.
YMB M3 guy from Concord ("it's stock...except for DP & tune!")
AY M4 guy who did ED and had front bumper replaced 3x
Our photographer/organizer/cat herder with all the BMW gear, sorry I don't remember which car was yours...
My brother from another mother and the only other person there with a car seat in the back. Also traded in his STI for the same price I traded mine in, drove an M3.
