JDE92M3 What part of IL you from? I'll be doing the drive from SC to the Tail of the Dragon myself and then central IL. I have painters tape ready to go so I'm curious why you opted to not wrap your bumper with it?

Only you and one other guest are allowed to come to the PCD experience. They make that very clear, and specifically state you can't call to ask for additional guests haha. Even kids can't come!

I'm in the Northwest Suburbs in city of Mount Prospect, IL. Well I had a ton of painters tape, but along the route there are so many scenic locations. To be honest I didn't want to ruin my pictures with the car all covered up in tape. And the PCD does an amazing job prepping the car, and having the car detailed. So I decided to drive cautiously when I was on the highway, and all was well. Not a single scratch the whole trip, and tons of sweet pictures along the way. Have fun on your trip

Agreed! That's why the two rolls I purchased were thrown into the trunk before I left the Performance Center.

No I'm with you! Trust me I'm not sure about you guys, but I'm not buying $70-80K cars everyday, so I wanted the car to stay perfect at least until the car got back home. Once I saw the car at PCD, I was ready to drive, and the last thing I wanted to do was wrap the car up with tape haha

A lot of folks like to tape their car until they get home and can get a clear bra put on. I'm not one of them, too many places to take good pictures of the car on the drive home to have the front end covered in blue tape.

I haven't checked in a few days, last I did it was still at the VPC. My PCD is still three weeks away.

that's a long time even though the car is stateside already. i think you were the one who declined to move up the date? or was it someone else?

Not me, I was able to move my delivery date up. PCD was originally scheduled for early August. Once the car got to Charleston I could have chosen a date two weeks earlier but my schedule wouldn't allow for the trip until the week after that, which I accepted.

Can't wait!!!! July 11th is my PCD day :-D

Picked up the car in Munich on May 10th and dropped off on the 14th, so just less than 8 weeks for re-delivery!

Congrats! Just curious, do you know the date that it reached Brunswick? Did you have anything installed at VPC?
