New Arrival

Morning All

So after 3 M4's and the temporary need for 4 doors I collected an M3 on Thursday.

Silverstone Blue II
Comp Pack
Black Wheels
Black Extended Leather
CF Interior
Privacy Glass
HUD
Reverse Camera
HK

I've only driven 200 miles or so but as expected I love it and it seems that everyone prefers the M3 shape.

Obligatory detailing session ensued on Saturday.....

Looks amazing! I thought about the M4 too...but only for a few seconds. The M3 just looks much better and better functionality IMO. Ceramic coating in the near future?

Very nice Neil!, The M4 didn't last long! Don't think they do official side skirts for the M3 though so you'll need to go aftermarket if you still want a set lol.

Not sure what to do about a coating - I've never really needed to, however Nasiol sent me some kits to trial so I might use one of those?

Generally keep my cars 6 months however this M3 will be 12 months.

I'll have a look for the M3 version of the side skirt extension, thanks for sending the fitting instructions!

Neil

Thanks! The wheels are ok providing you do a slow move up and down after you've first washed them - I forgot on Saturday and ended up with a GTS style orange tint.

Man, you swap out cars every 6-12 months? Something to do with your business?

I've always preferred the four doors. The proportions are more aggressive IMO, esp when compared to their non-M counterparts. I felt the same way about the E90 vs E92. A E90 is like a unicorn these days.

Agreed - they do look a lot more aggressive, seems to sit in the arches better too.

Looking good mate. I do like the M3, but I am a coupe man, so the M4 is my preference

Congratulations, car looks great and you have to love an M3!

What about Kamikaze ceramic coating?

By the way do you use atom-Mac on your brake discs?

I've heard good things about the Kamikaze kits.

Yeah, Atom Mac every other wash on my car and the wife's JCW. Takes the edge off.

Any where you would recommend to by Atom Mac?

Do you spray this onto the discs when you have finished washing and rinsed the wheels?

Regards,
Have a look on detailing world, see who's got a discount code running at the moment and go from there.

It seems expensive but as the mix ratio for discs is quite low you don't need much, I'm still on my first mix.

Exactly. Then just wipe down any overspray too.
