And can someone explain the main difference between regular springs like Eibach or H&R and progression springs like this KW? I mean except the height regulation.
Are this springs better for the track days or not - this is the main question for me?
Tnx.
It really is not a track thing, its more for the person that is looking for the perfect ride height. These springs keep a comfortable/firm ride in all setiings. Obviously if you were to drop them to they lowest point, you would loose some up travel. I hope that helps.

So as I understand right, that for the track days it is better to leave the car stock? I think that I need to wait for some coilovers that will work with the stock edc button, something like kw ddc, that I had on my 1m.

This gave us an incredibly low and aggressive stance (the stance we've wanted from the start).

Last weekend we did a BMW rally through the mountains near San Diego. We ran the car pretty hard to see how the suspension would hold up. We hit a couple bumps and pot holes while cornering that did cause the car to rub a little, but we weren't concerned. We may make some little tweaks but for now we are excited about the M4's current setup.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact us by clicking HERE or PM for more details.

This is EXACTLY what I'm looking to do. Offsets and tire sizes please!

FWIW Vivid Racing quotes the spring rates for this kit at 800lb front and 460lb rear. Obviously you'll want to confirm.

Thanks @Nizer; do you think those rates make sense to you?

Pretty sure that kW uses progressive springs on all but the club sport kit.

So these wouldn't be correct

Makes more sense than having lower spring rates in the front vs rear, which is what I've seen posted elsewhere. Beyond that I can't say in terms of whether these numbers are actually correct.

Amazing to me that anyone would consider changing springs on their car without knowing what the old and new spring rates were, but it seems to be more the norm than the exception on most BMW forums.

We wanted to update this thread with the latest setup. For SEMA we added a set of BBS FI's. We heard from a lot of people at the show about how they loved the stance of the car and wanted to know what suspension we were running.

Just a heads up that lead times are running 6-8 weeks last we checked and we currently have quite a few in stock. PM for more info.

apologies if this is a silly question but will the car require an alignment after installing a spring kit like the KW?

Yes we highly recommend doing an alignment after the springs are installed. Not just these springs - ANY springs
