First of all, your car is gorgeous and in great shape- even better with the low miles!
It's not something that you or your car are doing to not get as much attention as you'd like. There's just a flood of inventory right now and there isn't the buyers to match the inventory. On top of that, it's winter and in some states where they have brutal winters, sports cars in particular have their worst months generally speaking. A lot of cars coming off lease as well so the market is flooded with those. Since you're asking for feedback and what people would pay for the car, I'm going to add in my 2 cents to try and help you because I don't normally do this in peoples for sale ad. I think your price is pretty dang good and within $1,xxx of what KBB is saying a buyer can expect to pay for your car with the options, miles, color, and zip code for a private party transaction. They have the price at $49,223 with a range from $47,428 - $51,017. Obviously that is without the add-ons or modifications, but I wouldn't expect people to value those and add them to the value of the car (speaking for car modifications in general 99% of the time). I would pay $50,500 for your car. With that said, I think a price of ~ $49,700 would generate a good amount of exposure just from having the price in the $4x,xxx because there aren't many especially with your miles and condition that are that cheap. If no one bites on that then I would trade it in because that is a HELL OF A DEAL. It's a good price how it is now. If the dealership is really offering you ~ $50,000 then I would seriously consider taking that especially if it would help with them moving on the price of a M3 which sounds like you are planning on getting. Dealerships are much more likely to move on prices when you trade in your car because that's where they make most of their money so they love taking trade ins. Good luck with the sale! If google is correct, Houston's sales tax is 8.25%, which would make your trade in at $50k worth over $4k in tax credit and makes your car worth ~$54k. I'd take that all day long if I were in your shoes. I'd also take my downpipes, charge pipes and JB4 off and save them for my future M3. IF I were in your shoes that is. GLWS and your replacement car hunt.
