M4 on Saab Automobile Test Track in Trollhättan, Sweden

     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com

Earlier this week I hav the chance to drive my brand new M4 on the test track outside the SAAB factory. Before driving my car I had the chance to drive the new all-electric SAAB prototype.
I used the M-Laptimer as well what a great app that gives everyting a racedriver wants to know when bragging about the driving around the track. By the way does anyone know how to export the numbers to other applications and possibly superimpose it into the movie?

Track looks really rough around the edges...so the speak. Then again, Saab doesn't make The Ultimate Driving Machine!

BMW makes the best tarmac machines. A Saab Turbo Rallycar is something very different on gravel roads- I have been driving SAABs my whole life. I will work on my classics but the M4 will be my daily drive + some club track days. The M4 is truly phenomenal. What a great engineering masterpiece. Very few other cars comes even close to this one. I knew from the very first test drive a month ago that this IS my next car. All the handling characteristics, steering, stiffness was saying in a choir "take me with You home, we will have some serious fun together".

looks like a low-budget NASCAR track. lol.

so what was this Electric prototype all about? based on the last 9-3 i guess? isn't Saab totally screwed again these days after the collapse of the NEVS project?
