sold. changing my order. might even pull the trigger on the f80, but i def think SO on the F82 will look stunning
nobody will be happy w/ every color. time for change. i refuse to drive a white bmw in southern California. being middle eastern, i'll blend right in w/ every other Marlboro smoking middle easterns w/ blacked out stock rims, tail lights and tints. not my style. grey is cool, but i had a grey car before. austin yellow is alright, but too yellow for me. ymb, i try so hard to like it, but i can't. i don't want black. and i don't want to pay 5k more for an individual color. this color will be discontinued most likely after this year of production, which will make it even more exclusive. really looking forward to this now after looking at pics for the past 2 days. |

The M3 looks so angular and well thought out. The M4, in comparison, looks soft and lacks cohesion. I would love a coupe, but it's just no contest between these two. I'm sold on the M3.

Will someone articulate to me why I don't like the hood, its slope and how it meets the front end on all the new BMW cars???
Including the M3/M4??

they will most likely discontinue it (IMO) because think about it;
current colors- AW- will never eliminate this option MW - slight chance it will remain but most likely will go as well Sapphire Black- cool, but many want jet black AY- I believe will have the same fate as PY on the E46, won't make it to the end of production YMB- Just like AY, like LSB, won't make it to the end of production, most likely replaced by a dark blue color SO- used now on current M's, but I don't see this lasting to long. Might be discontinued like Sparingly Graphite Metallic after the 1st year of production. MG- might make it to the end, most likely will. In the next years, 100% a true red will be offered standard. In addition, Jet black will be offered, i mean how can it not be?. Interlagous, San Merino, or a dark blue will 100% be offered. I just don't think imo that sakhir will last that long. But I could be wrong. I've been around these cars for 15 years now, i know the trends pretty well. Time will tell. |
