Anyone try this eBay find? $190 Painted MPerformance style diffuser

I already got something else but I came across this.

190 painted in any color you want, I would do gloss black.

Curious to know if anyone has ever tried this or considered ordering.

Its polypropylene (I assume) so it actually should be pretty flexible, so I'd imagine it would fit well actually.

I did just that. Gloss black. Not from CARKING tho. Worked out perfectly, fit and finish. Was a bit cheaper tho.

Quality and fitment was good. (I AM VERY PICKY). Transaction was smooth.
Tried for the CF spoiler from a different seller and that was not good enough. Had to return and order from E C S Tuning (one word). eBay can be hit or miss sometimes. Good luck.

Looks nice! Even those two screw hole things on the bottom lined up? Those bother me because there doesn't seem to be a reason for them, it should just be clips.

Yes, all the holes lined up perfectly. Didn't realize the 2 middle ones weren't needed until after I removed the stock diffuser and saw no holes there.

Nice find. A few quick questions...

1. Does the lip or edge of this diffuser stick out from the body a bit or is it a "flush" fit to the body, just like the OEM diffuser? For example, the M Performance carbon diffuser edge sits flush with the body while the Status Gruppe variant actually sticks out a bit from the body for a slightly different look (I actually like this look which is why I am asking). I can't quite tell from the angle of your picture.

2. Does the hands free trunk release feature work with this diffuser?

My biggest concern with these items would be the quality and durability of the paint, in particular the clear coat, when compared to the OEM paint job on the car. Matching the color is usually not an issue as long as the shop has the right paint code (with few exceptions such as MW, which is very hard to match apparently). But the quality of the clear coat directly contributes to the durability of the paint job and how well it will look as it ages.

I had my front lip painted body color by a local shop for $200, which I thought was very reasonable. The price for these pieces, which includes the paint, almost seems to good to be true (as you mentioned, eBay can be hit or miss). But I am glad to hear you are pleased with the fitment and paint quality.

Maybe this angle is better. Its ABSOLUTELY flush all the way around just like stock diffuser.

Yes. Thats why I choose this type. To keep feature.

Im happy with the quality. It does appear as they stated to be richly layered with both paint and clear coat. Only time will tell.

I don't own an F80 but I did buy an F30 m sport diffuser on eBay and it was ok. The fit isn't the best but it's not that noticeable. It was a Chinese made. I was told get Taiwan made they're much better quality.

You can disregard that. All F8X rear bumpers are the same when it comes to diffuser fitment.
