Folding side mirrors

Hi,

I was wondering if an M4 2020 F82 side mirrors can/ do fold more than factory setting. when they fold it seems that they're not completely folded and they actually can do just one more move...
thank ya'll

I have two ///M cars a 2017 F80 M3 and a 2015 F85 X5M. And my mirrors do not completely fold up as far as my X5M does. I personally don't think that it wasn't designed to completely fold up. But that's just my opinion.

I don’t see a setting to adjust the folding limits. There is only an adjustment for the mirror tilt when going into reverse.

For my car, I had to code in the folding mirror function using Bimmer Code.

Yup. That’s all they fold to. Did you notice that the driver’s side mirror doesn’t fold as much as the passenger side yet?

On a coupe, the mirror fold wouldn't be too beneficial anyhow. The door is very long and you need more space for ingress/egress. So, even if you could make them go further (which you can't) I don't see the benefit.

OP lives in London, our streets are narrower and we can definitely benefit from the mirrors folding in a bit more if/when we have to park on narrower streets here
