How accurate is the hp/tq display in idrive?

Insofar as BMW has accurately indicated power figures, not sure why it wouldn't be pretty spot on for crank numbers.

It's at least accurate enough to diagnose a malfunctioning water system in the GTS. When it's not working, displays accurately report Competition power. So it's more than just foot to the floor = max hp and tq for the car.
