My first mod

My first mod will be the M Performance Carbon Fiber trunk spoiler for the M4.

Anyone have a place in Toronto to recommend to get it done fully installed.

Thanks in advance.

The diy is very simple. Will take maybe 15 mins. It's just held on with 2 way tape. Search on here for the instructions.

Yes, as mentioned, do it yourself.

Its rather simple, make sure you place it a few times to get an idea how it sits and what the gaps on each side are supposed to be BEFORE taking the the protector of the sticky side off.

Rest it on the car a few times and then peel the backing off and then stick it on. Done!

By gaps, I mean how close to the edge of the trunk the spoiler sits to be centered and even at each edge.

I agree with above, an easy diy install...

If you are looking for a professional, Id go the dealership route, cant be much more then an indy shop and you know (or hope) it will be done right

Is this a good deal?

Thanks

doesnt seem like a good deal since Pfaff had the spoiler for around $550 recently (can't remember the exact amount) but no where near $790. Like everybody said, just install it yourself.

Ive gone ahead and ordered a Mode Carbon High Kick spoiler from one of the vendors on these forums.

Gonna try to install it myself when it arrives. Looking forward to it.

I have read some people say you need to add the splitters to get better balanced aerodynamics when you add the spoiler. I am not sure if that is just BS to sell more parts on it or not...any thoughts on that?

At high speed track events/autobahn, I'm sure there is theory behind that thought. But not likely for day to day driving.

I do know that VCP, who did back to back EDs of M4s, said there was noticeably more high speed stability on the M Performance aero equipped M4 vs the standard M4.
