After repairs, first gear feeling very sluggish

Was taking 2017 M4 ZCP around some back roads the other day and ended up bending two rims and doing some damage to the under carriage. All in all, cost about 3100$ to fix at the dealership. Just picked her back up and took her on the highway. Acceleration, handling, suspension feels great again.

Starting from a dead stop in Sport Plus engine mode and FOT, there is significant lag until I hit around 2k rpms then it takes off like it should. I remember it being much faster then this... when I take it in this week what should I make sure they check?

That's when boost kicks in - around 2200.

I thought I remember it taking off much faster with FOT. I am not revving the engine, but slow off the clutch and FOT and man there is significant lag until 2k rpms. This is normal?

It sounds to me like they updated the software in your car. Many people have said their car behaves how you describe since the latest software update.

In 1st gear you'd be lucky to hit full boost at all, yet 2200 RPM. It doesn't sound like its your issue but traction control can and will kill power in 1st gear so try shutting it off and see if there's a difference (carefully, of course).

Make sure traction control is fully off.
