I have the MPE with cat less downpipes. I found it to be too quiet pre downpipes so I did the vale mod. Sounded great aside from cold start which was too loud.

With the downpipes and valves closed it is too quiet during day to day but valves open and cold start is full retard. The valves opened up in the city yesterday when I playing around and the car sounded mean with everything open.

Need to play with my jb4 and get the valves in the open position after the car is warmed up.

Thank you. I agree that in some cases, even with catless DP's the MPE is kinda quiet but then again there are instances where is deafens people lol

I park in a parking garage. It is insane with the valves open in the morning and downpipes. Especially if you have a hangover.

hrm. Right now running a JB4 so flash tune is probably out of the question.

I'm just in the habit now of closing the exhaust valves right as I pull into my parking garage. Leaving them on full "closed" through the JB4 holds them closed on the next start up as well. Then, when the car's warmed up a few blocks later I open them up.

So far so good - although most pedestrians seem to hate it.

Yah even with the valves closed and catless downpipes it's pretty loud on cold start. Valves open and it's just obnoxious.

Definitely. Cold start outside my office on the street isn't too horrible inside the car, parking garage is another story all together.
