Thanks for sharing. I really like fire orange, better than Sakhir Orange, not having seen either in person. Brainwashed by the M3GTS I suppose.

So the EPS is that good?? Better than Porsche? Wish you said better than porsche GT3 Of course it won't be, but that's not a fair comparison. Just dreamin... However, I do believe it can/should/will be on par or better than a regular 911.

It's the electric steering which I think will make or break the car, if that's just right everything else is good to go!

BMW reps are confident that their EPS is the best on the market right now. I am anxious to not only feel it for myself but to read some reviews from top people in the industry on this as well.

That is one confident claim and I will reserve judgement for when I test drive one. On the other hand, I would actually not be at all surprised. I was very underwhelmed by Porsches Electric Power Steering and with the Power Steering Plus option (which most dealership builds have) the car almost feels like a Lexus, at low speeds. Part of the reason I am going with a 997 over the 991 is due to the steering feel. Even between cars (991 S, 991 4s, and 981 Boxster S) the feel varies, the best in my opinion being the Boxster. I am really looking forward to driving this new m3/m4.

Do you know if they plan on offering a Cold Weather Package with a trunk pass through at some point?

It's been very convenient on my E90 and would hate to loose that feature.

You are joking right?

If not... it might help to read the title of this thread.

Thx Golfrr! Well I know which replacement battery I'll be ordering when mine goes out which will save another 28 lbs! Hopefully has a higher CCA rating than some current aftermarket litihium options.
