Perf exhaust sounds great on it, but still not good enough to overlook the terrible lines on the car. The m3 is growing on me. 4 just doesn't do it.

This is just silly. I'm all for nice loud (but it must be quality sound) exhausts, but how can people not understand that some people don't want their cars to sound like that? I love the way my V8 sounds, but I'm sure that's not how an older driver would want their cars to sound.

And before anyone is dumb enough to mention that the M3/4 is supposed to be an all out sports car: No it isn't.

Besides, I don't understand why anyone is complaining about the price. There will be plenty of other exhaust aftermarket systems that will sound just as good (I'm hoping better, still not that impressed with this one) for a fraction of the price.

Lol at a $7,000 axle back exhaust. Is it made out of solid gold? The BMW M tax is alive and well.

Thank you for posting this! I bet ip had a terrific time! Does anyone know if by chance, the performance exhaust functions the same way at the OEM does? Where if in comfort it is toned down a bit, then truly opens up upon switching to sport plus or mashing the pedal ? Thank you again the the video!

I was there for the M Initiation as well and I must say the M4 already is an outstanding car and sounds great, but the M PE is just insane!!! I want one now more than anything in the world!

As I mentioned the final product from the shoot should be going national and to social media within the next few weeks, this behind the scenes stuff is always interesting to look at tho....

This MPE is made by Akra so I am pretty sure they will both sound very similar.

Wrong and wrong. This is a full cat back system made from Ti. Its also not going to be priced that high. You would notice this if you read the thread.

This exhaust was NOT developed by Akra. It was made in house by BMW M Performance.

I don't understand all the fuss. BMW has never before provided exhaust systems until recently (to my knowledge). It's great that they do because you can mod and not worry about some disaster being blamed on your aftermarket setup. In addition you can mod with the OEM+ theme in mind.

We should be glad BMW is at least offering things like this, along with the other M Performance parts.

BMW M cars are notorious for being more of a sleeper anyway, while AMG's pound their chests with the great factory exhaust notes. So why should the M4 be this loud from the factory when no previous M car was? Many people love the stock exhaust note and say it's louder than the E92 as well.

We don't even know pricing yet so I don't understand the hate there either.

As far as the sound goes, it seems too loud and too raspy for my tastes. But I'd love to hear it in person. I'm more excited to hear what masterscheift and eisenmann whip up.

It should at least be an option on the build, not stock w/ perf exhaust.

Honestly don't think it sounds good. "Fart canny" to me. But i read all these comments of people who love it, I guess to each their own.
