Shift boot and Shift knob.

Hey everyone,

I got a chance finally to test out the M performance shift knob and
It was different then I was hoping. I want to keep the Leather shift boot and not use a Alcantara shift boot.
I really love the style, weight and the low profile of some of the Raceseng shift knobs.
My question is have most people had trouble re using stock shift boot or does it come apart easily?
I know IND sells custom Shift boots but only with the knobs I believe and I do not want to spend the $300 + unless I have to.
I can not find any other site that sells Shift boots for the our cars.
Does anyone have pics and input of the Raceseng shift knobs?
Thanks

Nick

You can reuse the boot if you're very careful in separating it from the knob.

As far as Raceseng being low profile.... nah; they're way fatter/bigger/heavier than stock. In terms of height, the ology series is about as tall as stock. Other series will vary, but most of them are bigger than stock. They're well made products though.

I'll be selling my Raceseng knobs soon.
