No -electrical- adjustable steering wheel?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I thought the executive package makes it electric. |

Set it and forget it... what's the big deal? I guess if you are sharing the car with your wife, an electric steering wheel adjustment makes sense for memory settings. A simple solution is to not let her drive... ever.

As or the other tip, never, please god never let the wife drive. I think all the men in my life are ruined for life but unlike many others, I do have balls.

Correct as far as I know - at least here in the U.S. I'm still getting used to the feature in my X5, and I could take it or leave it. I'm frequently ready to go before the car is. I didn't order comfort access for the same reason.

I currently drive a 2012 (c7) Audi A6 Prestige (3.0 supercharged)... background only so this has some context:
While not a enabled by default, you can set your steering wheel to raise when you exit (turn off the car), and lower down into your lap when you turn it on once you are inside. This is a fantastic feature that I will really miss. It's great because I'm a big guy (6'2 240) and if the wheel is in an ideal driving position for me, it gets in the way of me getting out of the car, or makes ingress a PITA. This is the first car i've seen that does this and it's great, as I've always had to make sacrafices one way or the other (ingress/egress/comfort or driving position). I'll miss this is my M4 for sure, I don't give a shit about the one time adjustment being manual / automatic however. |

Have to go to a 5er for that. I actually never adjust my steering. How often do you do that?

The point of the op was probably at this is a luxury car with a price tag north of $70k and it seems odd that it would lack something you get in a ford pick up truck. My old truck had electronically adjustable gas and brake pedals and it was just shy of $40k almost a decade ago. Not sayng it's necessary because it's not but yea it is odd. |
