2000km service
Hey guys, i took my car (M3) in for its 2k service yesterday. Got my car back and was going through the services performed. Spoke with service and they said that the diff, tranny, and engine oils would be changed and the car would be taken off transport mode. Now all of the services were done except the tranny. Was told that our cars don't like the oils replaced due to the tranny adjusting to the viscosity of the oil.
I figured its a service that bmw offers so get it done since it's free. Is this true and just move on with my life or should i have the car brought back in for service and have that procedure completed? I was told the tranny oil replacement was for the normal bmw transmissions and didn't apply to the M model cars. |
