It's that time again!!! Due to "popular" demand, here is the thread for cruise and lunch to Newport, RI. It seems that most are available weekend of 9/19 or 9/20 (rain date). I have never eaten at The Mooring but every time I've driven by, the parking lot is always packed during lunch. Depending on how many show up, it may be difficult to find parking? So, i would suggest this place, The Safari Room @ Ocean Cliff. They have plenty of parking, nice view and the food is great. Here is a link: http://www.newportexperience.com/#!dine/c1pj6

Whoever is from the Boston area, we can meet at South Shore Plaza (Nordstrom Side Parking) around 11 - 11:30AM and then cruise down to Newport. Plan is to be there around 1-1:30PM for lunch. Afterwards we could cruise around Ocean Ave and stop at a few areas for pictures. Who's available?

We can meet at the place to avoid any confusion. Not sure which route we're planning to take.
