F80 M3 engine rumble/Footwell vibration

Anyone else have this? Usually after M mode has been engaged, I can feel a vibration rumbling from feet to knees in driver foot well, nothing major, I’m pretty sure I may have had this in my E92s and W204, but my M2 has the same engine and wasn’t restricted by much and never had this rumbling.

Under the bonnet engine shakes a bit, not knocking but definitely shakes.

It feels normal as it’s a sports car, but also gives me a concern

Yes enough to heat the car up and have the fan fully kick in

From my understanding its possibly the fan radiator being unbalanced, when in M mode, the car obviously heats up and the fan kicks in maximum

The care doesn’t heat up more in M mode. Or any mode for that matter. When you set throttle to sport plus cooling system fans kick in early and more often to keep engine cool when pushing hard on a track.

There should be zero vibration at your feet due to the engine. This is no V8.

take your car to a mechanic. I don't think you have the knowledge to dianose anything on your own.

Furthermore if you engine is rumbling u got a serious problem.

Get it looked at by a mechanic. Once I had a new plug with a cracked insulator. The engine shook a bit at idle but threw no codes. Once I got on the pedal the shake went away, but I knew that the idle wasn’t right. New plug…no shake.

Took it yesterday, technician and senior technician both said its normal for those cars. Its a subtle rumbling but still concerns me, I have it booked in at another dealer in June, I may take it to a specialist to get a second opinion

Any update? I think my radiator fan maybe out of wack, any help would be appreciated. I hear a rumbling / shaking when I turn my AC on or when I push the car hard.

Same symptoms i had on mine, only apparent in Sports Plus.

Self diagnosed - turns out that the dealer had taken a chunk out of the fan blade when they replaced the aircon condenser so was unbalanced, new fan fitted and now runs smoothly when the fan is on.
