New M4
Well after many years of driving lots of BMWs from 3 to 4 to 5 series, I pulled the trigger on a new M4 in SOII.
Should have it in a couple of weeks. Will put ceramic coating and a clear bra on the bumper. Can't wait. |

Will get pics in a few weeks when it arrives. I have to go overseas for two weeks so the pics will arrive mid May. Carbon for the moment will include spoiler for the moment.

Correct. The guy (company) doing it is really good and seems to know what he is doing. Have read up loads. Will post picks as soon as I can.
Think I got a great deal as well which helps. |

Evron, thinking of rear spoiler and diffuser in the short term. May do something on the front later but not sure. The only thing which put me off the spoiler is people say the comfort access on the boot opener no longer works. I use this function on my current car all the time so do not want to install anything which stops this. Not sure why Carbon stops it working?

What do you mean ? Kick boot or boot auto open when you hit the trunk unlock. Its just the added weight of spoiler may or may not spring the boot open like it usually would.

It's the diffuser that interferes with the kick function of the boot. I have it on mine and it works intermittently, and can open unexpectedly when washing the car etc.

I must find the whole kick function is at times wired. Mine also can open when washing if not careful (important not to have the key in the car or in your pocket). Also you need to be very accurate with the kick.

Get the lower sills and leading edge of the rear guards clear coated. If you steer it like a M should, then that's where the stone chips will come.
