With approx 100 more lb-ft of torque, and how early it comes on, you will not worry about the slight horsepower increase

I think it has the potential to look absolutely amazing...with the right wheels/stance.

Just don't like the "7" on the door.

Coming from a current E92 M3 owner: Give me the weight reduction and the added torque and you can keep the extra 16-horses

There should be a rule that these kind of close to launch concepts can only have less attractive design cues and parts than the production cars. I dislike being dissapointed when the production car is shown and would much rather be surprised to see better looking solutions and parts than vice versa.

Do you really think BMW has shown us everything already? I do not. I think BMW has a few more surprises in store for us M4 fans in the next two months time span.

That sounds intriguing...Anyhow the M3 just spied looks amazing so I'm excited. I really hope there will be a significant upgrade of the interior materials vs the F30 as well. Is that what you think can be a surprise?

Maybe it's just me. But, I'm not all that impressed by the added TQ numbers. All that proves is how poor the current V8 is. My current 335is already has that now. Guess we'll all just have to wait till the test drives are available.

Comp Pack = better looking wheels and 10 mm additional drop in suspension travel.

You really want to wait another year for that? Seriously, I have driven ZCP cars back to back and the difference is absolutely minimal/nonexistant.

Some warranty-friendly aftermarket wheels + aftermarket suspension changes will provide far, far more return for the dollar and will provide noticeable results translated through the steering wheel.

LCI and ZCP are two of the most ridiculous reasons I have ever heard for waiting to buy this car. It's like people care more about ticking option boxes than driving the car.

Yea, ZCP especially unless you want a different color car. However the LCI refresh really updated the E9x M3s. For example LED tail lights, upgraded iDrive and so on. (well, maybe the iDrive was updated earlier, but I think you catch my drift.) The thing is, the M3 should have had all this (ok, new iDrive may not have been ready) from launch. I believe it's probably good to wait a year anyway to let all the little (or not so little) bugs get worked out. But ZCP doesn't seem to be worth the wait.

Cheers.

I agree! You have to figure that the M3/M4 is going to launch with everything the E92 M3 had PLUS, many of the extras it didnt. Some option wise, will launch with better options than a fully loaded 2013 E92 M3. That is plenty good for me! Being in IT, I know that you cant always keep chasing the latest technology because there is always going to be something better in 6mos. That being said, I will probably only keep this F82 for 3 years and then get a new one with all the updated goodies that we havent even seen yet! CCBs, New Nav, and HUD are just some of the NEW goodies I speak of.
