Bootmod3 custom Burbles variations

Hey Guys, have been testing different burble setups with proTUNING Freaks for sometime now. Currently as most of you know there are two variants offered: GTS burbles and aggressive/gunshot burbles. The GTS burbles are nice and all, but for those with stock exhaust it can be pretty quiet. Personally, I don't hear much going on with the GTS burbles if I'm driving over 35mph. So we developed a variant that sounds (the rhythm) very similar to GTS burbles except their slightly louder (still no where near gunshots) and slightly more aggressive in the higher RPMs.

The video below is a comparison of two different versions tested while revving, driveby, and downshifting. Both of these versions will most likely be preset setups available as part of the burbles slider (soon to come), but we're trying to figure out which of these two people prefer to make it the default OTS setup.

P.S. I understand some prefer no burbles and others prefer Gunshot burbles, but for this poll we're just trying to figure out which of these two people prefer.

Update:
Given the poll results and the huge preference for V2 burbles, V2 burbles will be the default burble setup on all future updates.
Thanks guys for participating in the poll.

Awesome man!

Yeah it's better to listen using a laptop/desktop to hear it properly, your phone wont show the difference clearly. It was shot using a GoPro Hero 3+, not the best cam/mic setup
I'm running stock exhaust + Eisenmann catless downpipes

What if I have stock zcp burbles already, how will it work after I get a tune from PTF?

V2 for sure. If you want burbles, go all out and get loudest and longest burble possible IMO.

I just flash to bm3 last week. I think the stock 18 zcp is giving better burble. For some reason bm3 at gear 3 4 5 6 doesn't give burble but 18 zcp does. (Both have fake sound ASD disabled)

Mine is on older BMW software and if you turn off active sound you’ll lose burble too. I think its tied into all tye sound tuning if you look in the BM3 map editor.

That's it, I'm gonna do BM3 come tax time in a few months! I like the burbles but dont want it to be gun shot embarrassing. I have an MPE without the secondary cats, may even get downpipes too but don't want to be ridiculous with the noise. I am assuming V1 would be more my preference but the V2 is sounding pretty good too.

Edit: After listening again, I think V2 is the one!

I currently have MSR intakes installed and after the latest OTS stage 2 update I lost a lot of intake sound during my downshifts. Would this issue be caused by exhaust burbles or something else? My previous flash had very aggressive downshifts so you can hear the intakes pretty loud but now it's muffled and I don't really hear anything.

There are two things that could be causing this:

1. Disabling ASD seem to interfere with burbles.
2. I think the maps from last week might have had speed a low speed cutoff, 36kmh. This has been updated since. Check while driving see at what speed do u stop having burbles.

Can your elaborate more on what you mean by the statement I've highlighted in bold?

I wouldn't think burbles would have anything to do with it. Tuning the burbles is mostly changing the timing and fuel tables. So I'm not sure how that can affect your downshifts and intake suction noise.

It could be very simple as your intake filters needing some cleaning

Will be posting here when and if it becomes available. Will all depend on the vote results. So far it looks like most people like V2
