It seems as if the E9x's in the video weren't gunning it

In the end you get what you like and at the end of the day it's still a BMW and an M car... You can't go wrong

Love the rear stance of the new M4. But I gotta say I'm not a fan of the noise. The 1M really sounded great especially when in such powerful company.

I have to agree with the above poster that said he had the cash but BMW couldn't produce a 100% desirable upgrade. There might be a ton of e90's M's on the market but there are also F-types, Benz's and Maserati's too

Same dilemma here, I ended up modding my e92 instead. Love M cars and trucks and I currently have 2 in my garage, maybe the M2 will wet my appetite, currently most intrigued by I8.

AMG is getting better too....

But can you in all honesty say that you feel this new model sounds that much worse, that would prevent you from buying?! Even without having heard all variations of modified and aftermarket exhaust options? That is the part that surprises me. Those that claim that the new models updates technologically, handling, etc... are not sufficient enough to compensate for the sound variation from the outgoing model.
