This E30 M3 or the F82 M4?

if you had an option to buy this E30

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...lution/1215889

or the next M4, which one would you pick?

Honestly, neither. I would get an E46 M3 if I could justify another toy.

+1 e46 M3 is a fun car and is pretty cheap now. My carpool buddy has one and we switch off driving, his car feels way more fun than my 335i. Yay, tomorrow is e46 M3 day!

I like e46 too, 1 series looks a lot like it , i confused them few times, if i had the money i would buy them all , when i was at the dealer buying my car they said u should buy the one i like, but the problem was that i like them all lol, i ended up with f30 335i and i am so happy with my decision

Problem with the e46 was it's 2 door, and I heard the e90 M3 is not the best DD. F30 was a compromise of marriage. Still happy too though!

The new M4 is supposed to be around E46 M3 weight with multiple turbos, inline 6, over 415hp and 400 ft/lbs, pffft, I don't get how they can compare (other than weight and I6)?

The E30 M3 would be a nice classic to have but you have to admit that between that and the new M4, they're completely different animals

The e30. It's going up in value and a true raw drivers car.

The E30. I'm sure the future M4 is going to be an amazing car, but I just could not pass up an E30 M3 at any point in my life. I remember seeing one in red on the highway a year ago and just thinking of how outclassed I was despite my faster and better overall E46 M3.

E30 - could be a once in a lifetime opportunity, and it should retain value or go up.

You can always get an M4 in the future (for half what some other guy paid for it).

Totally. Would love the E30 M3 for the classic club drive on a Sunday.

Really? Would you rather nail the Queen or Princess Kate? Yes they're both from the same family and sure one is a classic, but it's going to be uncomfortable and it won't have those perky twin turbos. What are we talking about?

Half of them are trying to decide. M4 and Kate as my hood ornament for me. Not even close.

The price for that M3 converts to $107191.38 USD. I'm pretty sure I could buy an M4 and a really clean E30 M3 for that much cash.

Or you can just get a clean E30 M3, do an S62 twin turbo swap and a set of AST coilovers.
