No! Every 2014+ 3/4 Series with the new NBT nav has the larger Touchpad controller (..and it isn't ceramic). |

6mt is the way to go. I could give up a second or two (if even that much) to have more fun at the track. That pic cant be an m3 though. Surprised no one said anything about the ELECTRIC HAND BRAKE. Are we driving vws now?? |

It eliminates parts. The germans like to reduce everything to the simplest form. Who needs a drum brake inside the rears? Electric parking brake simply engages the rear caliper with a small motor, likely the same motor as ABS and traction control.

Reasons to get Manual:
1) 1M derived transmission. Anyone who has driven this car knows the Manual is amazing in it. 2) Weight savings - this car is going to be all about being as light as possible. 3) More Fun - I've had the DCT for 5 years now, a manual car never loses its fun factor 4) Everything will eventually be DCT. The CEO of porsche said that within 7 years all their cars will be PDK only. It's a dying breed and this has the potential to be a great manual car. |

Given that this is likely last of the breed, I'll be getting manual. |

Thats great because I know what "sweetly" means!!! LOL I heard that the 1M shifts great, but unfortunately only very few people drove the thing. So thats why I was asking more specifically. Thanks though

It will be my first DCT car. It's a tough choice but I feel the car will be tune to work best with the DCT. I have read several magazines that state the f10m isn't well suited to the 6mt.

My guess is that the 1M is a much better reference to the F8X than the F10 M5. If not I'll be deeply disappointed.
